auxi - FAQs

auxi is a PowerPoint add-in that helps users automate the creation of presentations. It uses artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms to help users create high-quality presentations quickly and easily.

auxi is designed to work with Microsoft PowerPoint on Windows and MacOS. It requires PowerPoint 2016 or later and an internet connection to use some of its features.

You can download auxi Pro by Signing up for an auxi plan. If you would like to download auxi Enterprise, please reach out to our Enterprise team.

Upon sign up, You will receive an email from <license@auxi.ai> with your email, default password, and a link to the auxi store to download the add-in.

Windows -> Programs -> Search for auxi. If you find auxi in your program, the app was installed.

In PowerPoint, go to File -> Options -> add-ins -> COM Add-ins Go -> Make sure auxi is checked.

If you follow the steps above, and auxi is still not working on your machine, please create a new support ticket or send an email to support@auxi.ai.

After you make a purchase and your order is processed, you should receive an automatic welcome email from <license@auxi.ai> with your sign-in email and default password.

To activate your license, you need to follow these steps:

1. Download auxi using the link provided in the welcome email.
2. Install the add-in on your computer and launch it.
3. Open any PowerPoint file.
4. You will be prompted with a Sign In tab. Sign in using the email and default password you've previously received.

Go to auxi Tab > info, and check out your current version of auxi.

However, no need to worry, auxi gets updated automatically to the latest version whenever new changes are made!

Fortunately, you won't need to deactivate the auxi license on your current computer because we support up to two devices for each license!

You can add users to your plan through the auxi Admin portal.

Once you have an auxi plan, if you are the admin you will be able to edit, assign and buy additional seats in one place. If you need help adding or assigning seats you can send an email to: support@auxi.ai.

You can open up the Smart Bar by pressing on CTRL + SPACE. It allows you to search hundreds of formatting functions to use without having to memorize anything.

If you prefer shortcuts, you can notice little characters on the right side of each function. These are the keyboard shortcuts for each of these functions.

To change your slide colors and make them match, hit Q on your keyboard for Fix Slide Colors.

1. Look up Agenda Settings in the Smart Bar. You can change all colors, fonts, sizes, positions and other characteristics in one place.

2. If you like these settings so much that you want to save them and use them in the future, you can literally do that! Press on the refresh button for a preview of how your new agenda slide will look like and press on Update Slides if ready to apply the changes.

1. You can save a slide to use later by hitting \ on your keyboard.
2. To populate the slide, hit;

This comes in handy when you have a slide you are really proud of and want to use in the future!

Yes, you can! Here's how:

1. Select all the shapes you want inside your matrix, open the Smart Bar, then type and select Align Matrix.

2. A grid will pop up. This will help you decide on the final layout to fit your content. Feel free to choose from column or row configurations of N x N matrices. All up to you.

3. You can also use the keyboard shortcut to apply this command by hitting A + X.

Inside your PPT file, select the slides you are interested in, then search for Email Slides in the Smart Bar or the auxi ribbon. You can also choose between PDF and PPT format.

Sure. Take this example:

1. Hit P on your keyboard to add a pentagon, then C to add a couple chevrons.
2. Then, select all your items and hit A + P to Align Process.
3. Lastly, hit T to add textboxes over each item of your process.

1. Hit L on your keyboard or type Translate into the Smart Bar.

2. Choose out of more than 50 languages to translate from and to, then start the translation!

This feature supports all types of slides, including charts, tables, frameworks, and even third-party add-in charts, while making sure to flip the direction of slide content if the language necessitates that (e.g. English to Arabic).

The Recommendations​ feature uses machine learning models to recommend previously built slides that would fit your content, and automatically populates them when selected.

​​e.g. This slide starts with non presentable content. All content is there, but you still need to spend time editing the slide. Recommendations suggests completed formats, and auto builds the slide accordingly.

Fix Slide Colors automatically changes all your slide’s colors to be theme colors. To use this feature, hit Q on your keyboard or use the Smart Bar to find it.  

Now if you want to change the results or do it in bulk, we would recommend using Edit Colors instead. It allows you to choose to edit colors of a slide, a slide range or all your presentation. You can find it in the Smart Bar.

If the Recommendations feature is unable to find the best matches to your slide, it might be because there are not enough slide examples available on our server.

If you would like auxi to choose a layout for you in a specific type of slide, or know exactly what you want, TB is an assisted search that allows you to find slides that work with your content and convey the message you want to send.

The auxi add-in needs a stable internet connection to work well. If the features in the PPT banner are off, check your internet connection, or restart PPT if your connection looked fine.

Good question! Cause yes, you can. And this feature will save you so much time!

Here’s how:

1. Select your shapes.

2. Hit A + Z to Align Central. You can also find Align Central in the Smart Bar.

3. Decrease or increase the radius as you wish.

Imagine the frustration you have to go through while trying to make space in a 4 column slide to add a 5th one. Circles becoming ovals, icons looking all weird and thin. Disaster.

But guess what?

‍auxi will add a whole element to your selection, and make sure the remaining elements are taken care of.

Here's how:

1. Select your columns and find the Add Column or Delete Column commands using the Smart Bar.

2. You can also use the following keyboard shortcuts:
